Code of Ethics
At Noise PR, we believe that upholding the highest standards is essential to building trust, reputation and long-term success for both our clients and our agency. Our work is based on high-quality advisory services, respect for the law and ethical principles, and care for the interests of our clients and partners. The principles set out below form the foundation of our work, protecting our clients’ interests and strengthening our position as a reliable and responsible partner.
- Purpose and Scope
- The Code defines standards of conduct at Noise PR in relation to clients, media, public administration, partners and within the organisation.
- It applies to all employees, associates, subcontractors and consultants acting on behalf of Noise PR.
- It forms part of employment and cooperation agreements and constitutes the basis for onboarding training.
- Our Values
- Professionalism – We operate in line with best industry practices, combining advisory expertise with operational experience. Every action we take is based on thorough analysis, preparation and respect for facts.
- Transparency – We build trust through open communication and honest relationships with clients, media and partners. We clearly communicate the objectives, limitations and risks of our recommendations.
- Confidentiality – We treat entrusted information with the highest level of care and discretion. We protect client data, decisions and processes as if they were our own – at every stage of cooperation.
- Responsibility – We provide advice consciously, anticipating the consequences of our recommendations and actions. We consider the long-term impact of communication on reputation, relationships and the broader social environment.
- Respect – We believe effective communication begins with mutual understanding. We foster a workplace culture based on equality, dialogue and respect for diversity.
- Principles of Cooperation with Clients
- We apply the highest standards of ethical and responsible PR and public affairs practice.
- We shape narratives responsibly, avoiding messages that could infringe upon the dignity of individuals, social groups or institutions.
- We cooperate transparently – informing clients about potential communication risks and threats.
- In client relationships, we maintain objectivity, independence and loyalty to agreed commitments.
- We do not promise results beyond our control; we guarantee quality, not media outcomes.
- Confidentiality and Information Protection
- We protect the data, information and materials of both current and former clients.
- We use them exclusively for purposes agreed in contracts.
- We do not disclose confidential content without consent, unless required by law.
- Associates and suppliers are required to maintain the same confidentiality standards as agency employees.
- Avoidance of Conflicts of Interest
- We do not represent clients with conflicting interests without their written consent.
- Any potential conflict of interest must be immediately reported to a supervisor or the compliance officer.
- In dealings with the public sector and business partners, we adhere to the highest standards of ethics and transparency.
- We follow the principle of minimising reputational risk – we do not undertake assignments or actions that could harm the reputation of the client, the agency or stakeholders.
- Agency Image and Representation
- Every Noise PR employee and consultant acts as an ambassador for the agency – at work, in public spaces and on social media.
- We ensure professionalism in our statements and avoid content that could damage the image of clients or the agency.
- We do not publish unauthorised information about projects, clients or internal company processes.
- We avoid public appearances, interviews or statements on behalf of the agency without prior consultation with the Management Board or an authorised person.
- Media and Public Communication
- We respect the independence of journalists and media – we do not offer any form of compensation intended to influence publications.
- We do not engage in undisclosed advertising, “paid PR” without proper labelling, or fake grassroots activities (astroturfing).
- Personal profiles of our employees must not present themselves as neutral sources if representing a client’s interests. -> If we publish content related to projects, we disclose our professional affiliation.
- All sponsored materials, collaborations and partnerships are labelled in accordance with the law and transparency principles.
- Responsible Use of New Technologies
- AI, analytical and generative tools are used strictly in accordance with contracts, the law and ethical standards.
- We ensure data confidentiality, verify automatically generated content and prevent plagiarism or manipulation.
- We do not create fake accounts, impersonated user content or engage in disinformation.
- Equality and Work Environment
- Noise PR ensures equal treatment regardless of gender, age, origin, beliefs, orientation or disability.
- We do not tolerate discrimination, bullying or any form of harassment.
- We promote a culture of cooperation, openness and mutual respect.
- We provide a safe and supportive working environment and comply with labour law.
- Social Responsibility and Impact
- We recognise that communication shapes opinions and attitudes. Our actions must not harm society or the environment.
- We support initiatives with positive social impact and exercise particular caution in sensitive projects.
- We do not undertake cooperation that could legitimise actions contrary to the law, ethics or the public good.
- Reporting Violations
- Every employee and associate is obliged to report violations of the Code or ethical standards.
- We ensure confidentiality and protection against retaliation.
- Reports may be submitted to a supervisor or the HR function.
- All cases are documented and reviewed diligently and discreetly.
- Enforcement and Updates
- The Code is mandatory for all employees and collaborators of Noise PR.
- Every new employee receives the Code upon signing the agreement and participates in ethics training.
- The Code is reviewed at least annually and updated in response to changes in law, technology or industry practices.
